Our Story
One House, One Family, Many Memories
We've been hosts in Natz/Schabs since 1979. What began as a small guesthouse has grown into a family business with heart across three generations – and in 2026 it becomes Hotel Pinaria.
1979
The Beginnings
Erich and Johanna build the Pension Föhrenhof on the Uhlwiese with great dedication – for school groups and private guests, whom they look after entirely on their own.
1997
From Guesthouse to Hotel
The pension becomes Hotel Föhrenhof. With the expansion, coach groups join the mix – Erich cooks, Johanna is the host.
2011
The Next Generation
Daughter Sabine joins the hotel business. Her four sisters support the family to this day, whenever help is needed.
2018
New Possibilities
An underground garage is built, and sister Margit builds four apartments, which the Föhrenhof has operated ever since.
2022
Sabine & Thomas
Sabine takes over the hotel from her parents. Together with her husband Thomas, she carries the family tradition forward.
2026
Hotel Pinaria
With the expansion into Hotel Pinaria, the next chapter begins – shaped by family and the joy of hosting.
